Baja California Badminton: Top Moments & Players

Tijuana, Baja California – The Baja California badminton team concluded its intervention in the Baja Cup 2025 with an outstanding participation, a competition held at the Multipurpose Gymnasium of the Tijuana High Performance Center, an event convened by the State Association of the discipline, in coordination with the Institute of Sports and Physical Culture of Baja California (INDEBC).

The event represented the culmination of an intensive three-week preparation camp, whose main objective was to raise the competitive level of the state representative in view of the next national selection towards the National Olympiad.

27 players from the Baja California national team participated in the 2025 Baja Cup, as well as representatives from entities such as Yucatán, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Quintana Roo, Chihuahua and Aguascalientes, which contributed to increasing the demand and competitive level of the tournament.

With the experience and learning acquired in the camp and in the 2025 Baja Cup, the Baja California badminton team confirmed its objective of improving the results obtained in the previous edition of the National Olympiad, in which they won two bronze medals.
