Youth Archery: La Fenice Project & Technical Meeting

The national youth archery technical meeting held in Cinquefrondi has ended.

The gathering, like others that will be held in other regions, is part of a federal project “La Fenice”, which has the aim of giving life to a technical and educational vision shared between the center and the peripheries; identify and enhance very young archers; focus the activity towards a future Olympic perspective, particularly for the compound division which has recently been admitted to the Olympic Games.

Some young Calabrian athletes from the children’s and student classes in the compound and recurve bow divisions and their instructors were called to the meeting.

During the meeting there was a fruitful exchange of information between the technicians and for the young archers a moment of awareness of their abilities and potential.

The president of the Fitarco Regional Committee Giovanni Giarmoleo and the national councilor Alessandro Albanese underlined how enriching and formative these local experiences are for the youth sector for the growth of archery.
