MADRID 17 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The interest of Spanish travelers in the great icons of the United States has triggered the activity of Hellotickets, a leading platform in experiences and shows, which closes the 2025 financial year with a 25.3% increase in its sales in Spain.

The company has registered a total of 65,200 tickets sold, driven mainly by the so-called ‘New York effect’, a destination that monopolizes the ranking of the most requested experiences.

According to the platform’s annual data, the Big Apple has established itself as the leading international destination for national tourists, concentrating four of the ten most booked activities of the year.

This growth reflects a professionalization of the Spanish traveler, who is committed to advance planning to guarantee access to high-demand events and avoid unnecessary waits.

THE BIG APPLE: THE EPICENTER OF RESERVATIONS

Within the New York offer, the star product has been the New York Explorer Pass, closely followed by the Contrasts tour, which allows you to tour the districts of The Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn. The experience in the city is completed with entry to the observatory of the Vanderbilt skyscraper, the tallest room in the city, and the CityPASS card.

The phenomenon is not limited to monumental tourism. American sports have captured a significant part of the reservations, with the NBA games of the Brooklyn Nets and the New York Knicks, as well as the baseball days of the New York Yankees, ranking at the top of the leisure preferences of Spaniards abroad.

BEYOND THE USA: PARIS, SPORTS AND MUSIC

Although New York leads, other European destinations maintain their attractiveness. In France, Spaniards prefer Disneyland Paris and the Palace of Versailles. At the national level, the Alhambra in Granada continues to be the star experience to avoid lines, along with other European landmarks such as the Duomo in Milan or the Danube cruises in Budapest.

In the mass events section, sports fans extend to the NFL with the Miami Dolphins and national soccer with Real Madrid CF. For its part, the music industry has been dominated by Rosalía and Bad Bunny, who have established themselves as the artists most in demand by the Spanish public on the platform this year.

The CEO of Hellotickets, Jorge Díaz, has highlighted that, although reservations are stable, a strong concentration is detected in the spring and summer months. “This pattern confirms the tendency of Spanish travelers to plan their international getaways in advance,” explains Díaz.
