Fantasy Football’s Top 90 Standard RBs for Week 16
The second round of the Fantasy Football playoffs is here! You’ve reached the penultimate game and it’s time to kick another fake team’s ass. Below we have the running backs you need to make your rosters this week. Audric Estime, Saints vs. JetsThe Jets have allowed 14 running back touchdowns in the last five games. This is the worst you can imagine. The Saints are hurting at running back, with Alvin Kamara and Devin Neal injured. At this point we don’t know exactly what the injury report will look like on Friday, but if Kamara and Neal are out, Estime appears to be the better play than Evan Hull. Estime was better in relief of Neal last week and also had three receptions. There will be advantages for whoever receives the ball for the Saints this week. Knight was forced out of last week’s game with an ankle injury that appears to keep him out at least this week and possibly the rest of the season. Emari Demercado and Michael Carter will take over the running back duties. Neal was forced to withdraw from the Week 15 matchup due to a hamstring injury. Audric Estime and Evan Hull split time without him. Alvin Kamara has not yet returned to training after suffering a sprained MCL, but has not been placed on IR. We’ll see if they try to get it back with three games left. Marks left last week’s game numerous times with ankle issues, but ultimately did not return. It seems like he could have returned if necessary, but the Texans built a substantial lead. He is at some risk due to his lingering injury, but it appears he could play this week against the Raiders. Kamara suffered an MCL sprain in Week 12 and missed Weeks 13n and 14. Devin Neal took over the lead role in his place. He hasn’t been placed on IR, so it seems like he should have a chance to return, but he hasn’t practiced yet. He will likely need to practice fully to be ready to go this week against the Panthers.
