Snowboardcross: Trespeuch & Chollet’s Team World Cup Success

French snowboardcross is launching its Olympic season perfectly this weekend in Cervinia, Italy. After the individual victory of the young people, Léa Casta and Jonas Chollet, it was the turn of the veterans to shine this Sunday. Chloé Trespeuch and Aidan Chollet took third place in the first team race of the World Cup season, concluding a successful back-to-school weekend for the Blues.

The 31-year-old Savoyard and the eldest of the Chollet brothers were beaten by Great Britain, in the lead, and Italy. The British Charlotte Banks, 2021 world champion, allowed her team to win by making a good comeback over the Italians and the French, in the lead halfway through.

Big crystal globe in 2024, Chloé Trespeuch has rediscovered the joys of a podium after a lack of sporting season last winter, due to a maternity break. Aidan Chollet scored his second podium in two days after his second place this Saturday, behind his brother Jonas.

This first World Cup weekend was full of good results for the Blues with four podiums in three races, including two victories. They are launching their season perfectly, heading to the Olympic Games in Milan, from February 6 to 22, 2026.
