Trieste wins a thrilling overtime victory against Reggio Emiliademonstrating character and great determination despite the absence of Sissokostopped by an injury during the second quarter which took away an important player from the team under the basket. The Julians were able to react to moments of difficulty, guided by Ramsey, Toscano-Anderson e Uthoffand they found in the return of Brooks a valuable reinforcement both in attack and defense. In the final, Trieste was able to exploit triples, counterattacks and decisive rebounds to get the better of Reggio Emilia, who fought until the last minute, giving the home crowd a memorable and hard-fought victory until the last second.

Sissoko takes a hit from Echenique and remains on the ground. Echenique makes one of two on free throws, then comes JT Thor’s self-goal. Candussi scores two free throws. Cheatam overcomes the Trieste defense and scores two points, followed by Severini’s triple. Caupain closes the second quarter from the middle: 37-43 for Reggio.

Third quarter. Trieste returns with Ross, Ramsey, Brooks, Toscano-Anderson e Uthoff. Barford opens the quarter from mid-range by falling backwards, Ramsey responds with a long-range basket. Ramsey stops Williams, takes the rebound and serves a no-look to Toscano-Anderson, who dunks. Foul by Williams on Toscano-Anderson: 1/2 from the line. Williams scores with a dunk, but Ramsey responds from three to bring Trieste back to -1, before serving Ross for the three-point lead. Ramsey receives from Toscano-Anderson and dunks.
