Chelsea won 2-0 over Everton in the cage. The Blues’ two winning goals were scored by Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto.
Chelsea vs Everton in the follow-up match Premier League took place at Stamford Brigde, Saturday (13/12/2025). The hosts opened the scoring in the 21st minute through Cole Palmer.
Chelsea closed the first half with a 2-0 lead. This happened after Malo Gusto broke into Everton’s goal in the 45th minute.

No additional goals were scored in the second half. Chelsea won 2-0.
This victory brought the Blues to fourth place with 28 points. Everton is in 8th place with 24 points.
The Course of the Match
Both teams appeared cautious at the start of the first half. This meant that no shots were fired by Chelsea and Everton in the first 15 minutes of the match. The first threat was released by the visitors in the 19th minute.
Ilman Ndiaye stabbed from the right side. The shot hit Jake O’Brien so it was easily secured by Robert Sanchez.
Gol!!! Chelsea were able to break the deadlock in the 21st minute. Malo Gusto provided a breakthrough pass towards Cole Palmer who entered the penalty box. Palmer’s kick outwits Jordan Pickford.
The Blues almost doubled their lead a minute later. Alejandro Garnacho has space on the left side of the penalty box. The shot still went up.
Garnacho wastes another opportunity. Carlo Alcaraz made a wrong pass which went straight to Garnacho. The Argentine player’s shot went wide.
Chelsea continued to press. Enzo Fernandez had a chance when he headed in a cross from the right side. However, his header was weak and was easily saved by Pickford.
Everton tried to respond in the 36th minute. James Garner’s free kick found the unmarked James Tarkowski. Tarkowski’s header was fruitless because it went wide.
The Toffees almost equalized in the 38th minute. Idrisia Gueye released a horizontal pass from the right side. Thierno Barry failed to cheat his pass in front of the goal.
The buying and selling attacks occurred in the final minutes of the first half. Gusto tried to threaten with a long distance shot. His attempt went straight into Pickford’s arms.
Gol!!! Chelsea doubled their lead in the 45th minute. Through a quick counter-attack, Pedro Neto stabbed from the right side. Gusto grabbed his bait and scored a goal.

After the break, Garnacho continued to waste opportunities. He was freed after receiving a long pass from Sanchez. Just facing Pickford, his shot went high.
Everton almost equalized in the 72nd minute. A cross from Alcaraz on the right reached Jack Grealish who was unmarked at the far post. Grealish flicks the ball but it goes wide.
Pickford made a brilliant save in the 75th minute. He flew to block Reece James’ free kick.
Ndiaye acted in the 85th minute. He can stab into the penalty box and then shoot. Sanchez was out of step but the ball was not created because the ball hit the post.
Chelsea ended the match with a 2-0 win.
