MHSC U19 vs TFC U19: Occitanie Derby Highlights

This Sunday afternoon, the National U19s of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club hosted their counterparts from Toulouse Football Club in Grammont for the 14th day of the championship. In an Occitan derby rich in intensity and twists and turns, Michel Rodriguez’s players won after a real offensive festival (5–4).

The meeting, rhythmic and indecisive until the end, finally turned to the advantage of the Pailladins, capable of making the difference in the last minutes to overthrow a TFC which was nevertheless combative. Montpellier was able to count on a duo in great form: Laciné Megnan Pavé, author of a double, and Massaoly Diarra, also scorer twice. Léo Mellin, coming off the bench, is the other Montpellier player to have found the net.

Arriving from Alsace at the beginning of November, Massaoly Diarra already confirms all his potential under his new colors. The young striker quickly adapted to the MHSC: in less than a month, he scored three goals with the National U19s and another with the reserves, highlighting an express and promising integration.

Thanks to this prestigious success, the young Pailladins regain the place of runners-up to AS Monaco in the ranking, confirming their excellent dynamic. They will enter the Gambardella Cup next weekend by traveling to FC Marmande 47.
