Mohamed Salah scored 34 goals and was named player of the year as Liverpool won the Premier League last season. but this autumn, the Egyptian’s form has declined and head coach Arne Slot benched him in the last three games in the English league.
Salah went on the attack on Saturday, saying it “seems like the club has thrown me under the bus”, and that he no longer has a relationship with Slot.
Liverpool fans clearly showed which side they stand on in the conflict in connection with the Champions League match against Inter. The supporters loudly chanted slot’s name both before and after the 1–0 victory. The support for the Liverpool manager was unequivocal.

Approximately 5,000 Liverpool fans were in attendance at the San Siro to witness the match. The fight was long and heavy, but Dominik Szoboszlai made sure it was three points for the away team. Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni brought down Florian Wirtz in the penalty area and Szoboszlai converted the penalty in the 88th minute.

Slot ducked questions about Salah
Mohamed Salah has established himself as one of Liverpool’s greatest players of all time. He has won two Premier League titles, the Champions League and a host of other trophies.
After his statements on Saturday, he was poked from Liverpool’s squad for the away match against Inter.Last Tuesday he posted a picture to his 66 million followers on Instagramwhere he trained alone in the gym at Liverpool’s training facility.
Arne Slot stated ahead of the match in Milan that he had no idea if Salah would ever play again for the club, and he sought to avoid any further questions about the Anfield icon’s future after the win.
– My position is that tonight everything should be about the players who are here.In Liverpool’s rich history, they have had many nights like this, but in this season, if you get an away win against such a strong team, then it should be about those who are here, says Slot and continues:
– I can understand that on Friday I will get a lot of questions about other things.
