Hailed by some “Ousmane Ballon d’Or”, Saturday against Rennes (5-0), Dembélé has just made a third appearance in the space of ten days. 11 minutes against Tottenham, 26 in Monaco and 26 again this weekend: the number 10, recovered from a left calf injury contracted against Bayern Munich on November 4, has resumed smoothly after recent months marked by his individual coronation and a succession of injuries which prevented him from fully launching his season. “Each return is difficult to manage. With Ousmane, I am more considerate than usual. We want him to come back, but we have to stay attentive,” Luis Enrique warned before the Spurs reception.
