Football portal Goal updated the ranking of the main contenders for winning the 2026 World Cup among the 42 national teams that have guaranteed participation in it.
The update follows the group stage draw that took place on Friday, December 5. Another six teams will be determined after the playoffs in March 2026.

The World Championship in 2026 will be held from June 11 to July 19 on the territory of three countries: USA, Canada and Mexico. For the first time, 48 national teams will participate in the World Cup, which will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each.
