“A gift from above”, exclaimed the Timrå fans after Friday evening’s news. Now Jonathan Dahlén gives his view on Anton Lundmark’s return from North America.

Head coach Tommy Samuelsson is on the same track, but is reticent.

Jonathan, how important is it to get Lundmark in considering the JVM and the damage?
– I think we have 11 forwards when they stick, so it is very important that we have at least 12 forwards so that we can match a whole lineup. Then we have good juniors that we can pick up as well, but it is clear that it is important to bring in Lundmark.
For Jonathan Dahlén in particular, there is also a recognition factor in returning home from North America – even though his first return involved more games in the AHL.
– I don’t really know (what tips are given). I’ll have a chat with him when he arrives and see how he’s doing. Hopefully he is positive and happy to come back. We’ll build him up if he’s down, but he’s a positive guy so he’ll come back with great energy and be happy to contribute, so it’ll be good.
Dahlén on the loss: “It is under all criticism”
As for the Saturday match against Djurgården, Dahlén was, as I said, less satisfied.
– It is a terrible disappointment. I don’t understand how we can concede a goal on the power play with two minutes left. That shouldn’t happen. It is under all criticism that they even got a shot position when we have the powerplay. We have to do much better, he says to hockeysverige.se
Will there be any explanation when this happened?
– We must win this match. It is completely indescribable that it turns out like that. A big disappointment. I’m really disappointed that we don’t tie the knot, says Dahlén.
