For Germany’s promising men’s doubles pair, Aditya Gahirwal and Luan Wolber, their journey in the individual competition ended in the quarter-finals. The young German duo faced a tough challenge against the fourth-seeded English pair, Hou/Wong, ultimately falling in straight games with scores of 18-21 and 15-21. Despite a valiant effort, Gahirwal and Wolber couldn’t quite find the rhythm needed to overcome their highly-ranked opponents.

The disappointment was palpable immediately after the match. Gahirwal and Wolber reflected on their performance, acknowledging the missed opportunity but also highlighting the positives. Unfortunately,we weren’t able to show our best game today. That’s very annoying right now. But we won five out of six games here and we can definitely build on that, they stated, demonstrating a mature outlook despite the setback.
