The Cowboys (5-5-1) took advantage of their third tiebreaker opportunity in the fourth quarter to extend their home winning streak against Dak Prescott’s NL East teams to 19.
This is also the first game at AT&T Stadium for the Cowboys since the death of Marshawn Kneeland.
The Eagles (8-3) are still in a good position to defend their title of champions of the Eastern section of the National. They are trying to become the first team to win the title two years in a row since winning it in four straight seasons from 2001 to 2004.
On Sunday, however, they lost a lead of at least 21 points for the first time since 1999, when the Arizona Cardinals defeated them 25-24.
It was the first win after trailing by three touchdowns since beating the St. Louis Rams 34-31 in 2014.

Caleb Williams
Caleb Williams threw three touchdown passes and the Chicago Bears defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-28 in the absence of their beast nemesis Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, at the end of a duel between two teams at the top of their respective sections.
Rodgers, out with a broken left wrist, is 25-5 against the Bears.
During his long stay with the Green Bay Packers, he once addressed the Soldier Field crowd by shouting that he was still the master of Chicago. The holder of four NFL Most Valuable Player titles, however, did not have the opportunity to demonstrate whether that was still the case this time.
Rodgers, who turns 42 on Dec. 2, was injured in the second quarter of the game against the Cincinnati Bengals, which the Steelers won 34-12 last weekend. He wore a splint on his injured wrist when he practiced on a limited basis Friday.
With Mason Rudolph at quarterback to replace him, the Steelers (6-5) are now tied with the Baltimore Ravens atop the AFC North Division.
The Bears (8-3) for their part signed an eighth victory in nine games and remain in first place in the Northern section of the National. After coming from behind in the final two minutes to win in their last three games, this time they clung to a lead.
The Steelers got within three points when Rudolph connected with Pat Freiermuth on a three-yard touchdown run with six and a half minutes left. The Steelers had the ball near center field when Grady Jarrett knocked down a pass on a fourth down to seal the victory for the Bears.
Williams, who was shaky at times against the Minnesota Vikings despite setting a team record with five game-winning fourth-quarter comebacks in a season, this time found his rhythm in the second half after several long passes in the first two quarters.
He completed 19 of 35 passes for 239 yards, while the Steelers were last entering Sunday’s NFL games with 261.7 passing yards on average. Williams also fumbled the ball in his own end zone in the second quarter, and Nick Herbig recovered it for the major.
DJ Moore caught five balls for 64 yards, including two for touchdowns. Colston Loveland also had an aerial touchdown, while Kyle Monangai crossed the goal line on the ground.
Rudolph, who is playing with the Steelers for the second time after agreeing to a contract in March, recovered after an interception on his first pass. He connected with his receivers 24 times in 31 attempts for 171 yards and a touchdown.
Kenneth Gainwell rushed for 92 yards, including 55 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. DK Metcalf and Jaylen Warren also scored with their legs.

Colts 20 – Chiefs 23
Harrison Butker played the hero with his fifth field goal of the game on Sunday, allowing the Kansas City Chiefs to win 23-20 over the Indianapolis Colts in overtime.
Patrick Mahomes accumulated 352 passing yards, a season high. Kareem Hunt added 104 yards rushing including a touchdown for the Chiefs (6-5), who had lost their last two games.
Rashee Rice caught eight passes for 141 yards, including two crucial catches in a game-tying drive. For the fourth possession in a row, the Colts (8-3) had to punt after not having signed any first down. Butker ended the debate with a 27-yard field goal with 1:57 on the clock in overtime.
“In our five losses, there was this impression that we also had today (for a good part of the game) – this lack of opportunism,” Mahomes said. We showed that we can make big plays at important times. »
Indianapolis blew a 20-9 cushion in the final quarter. Daniel Jones had 181 air yards, including two touchdown passes. The majority of the spoils were acquired in the first half. In the second half, he was eight for 18, for 83 yards.
Jonathan Taylor was limited to 58 yards on 16 carries, after a dazzling performance against the Atlanta Falcons.
Kansas City put together two climbs lasting more than eight minutes in the first half, only managing one precision kick. Mahomes connected with Rice for a two-point conversion that cut the Colts lead to 20-17 early in the fourth quarter.
The Chiefs defense then took over in a sustained manner, facing the Colts leading the league in points scored.
Indianapolis only amassed 255 yards, by far the team’s lowest total, this season. “It’s very frustrating,” admitted Colts coach Shane Steichen. I had high hopes for several passing schemes, but we weren’t effective. It starts from me. »
Butker broke the deadlock at the last moment in the fourth quarter, hitting the target from 25 yards. He also did the job in overtime, giving his team a first victory since October 27.
“What I liked was the way the guys stuck together,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. No one lowered their heads. They showed up when it mattered. »
AFC champions, the Chiefs will play again next Sunday in Arlington, against the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts will then host the Houston Texans. They have won their last three matches.

Undefeated in their last six games, the Rams have the best record in the National, 9-2. Cobie Durant returned an interception 50 yards to the end zone. Colby Parkinson caught the other touchdown pass for the Rams, who will play at Charlotte next Sunday.
