The association Il Basket Siamo Noi, in partnership with the Municipality of Varese, presents the new book “Carlo Meazza 80. Sguardi sul mondo”, which will be held on 5 December 2025 at 9.00 pm in the Sala Montanari of Varese. With a chapter on Varese Basketball, Meazza proposes, on the occasion of his 80th birthday, a book that collects his work as a photographer for more than 50 years. The volume collects shots taken in different parts of the world: not only the history of Pallacanestro Varese but also images that immortalize faces, territories, borders and encounters, composing a human and visual story of great intensity.
During the evening the following will speak: Giuseppe Cederna, Carlo Meazza, Marta Morazzoni, Roberto Piumini and the culture councilor Enzo Rosario Laforgia. With the video contribution of Cesare Gandini. The event is open to the public and has free admission.
