Jindřich Trpišovský (49) rewrote the ancient records of the Czech league in the number of wins and led Slavia to four titles and regular participation in European cups. Now, however, his name is once again heard abroad.According to the details of journalist Rudy Galetti, the coach of the Prague club is being watched by some teams from the Premier League, who were interested in his game beliefs.
“For Trpišovský, this tactical philosophy has been a hallmark for many years. In Slavia, his teams became famous for their discipline, speed and collective pressing. What was once considered a risky, even suicidal approach has now become a model for success throughout europe,” wrote Galetti.
And then he went on to say that Trpišovský’s contract will expire after this season, even though he has agreed on a three-year extension. If Galetti’s information turns out to be true, it will be interesting to see how Trpišovský behaves, as interest in him from abroad has been written about many times, but he himself repeats that he is happy in Slavia. All the more so when there is still the possibility of leading the Czech national team in the play-off, possibly at the World Championship.
