BBC Monthey-Chablais lost by a whisker on Wednesday evening in the SBL. The Yellow and Green lost 96–95 against Nyon, on a basket with one second remaining.

Cruel disillusionment at Reposieux on Wednesday evening. After their victory in Geneva, the Sangliers fell to the wire 96–95 against Nyon. Monthey held the match point, but Nyon had the last word in this seventh day of the championship. Malyk Rebetez scored the Vaud victory basket… one second from the buzzer.

Behind, BBC Monthey-Chablais had the opportunity to snatch the decision, but Fritschi’s shot did not find the target at the last moment. A narrow defeat, while the Chablaisiens had until then held the lead in Nyon in a contested and balanced match from start to finish.
