The DAY OF LEGALITY IN SPORT, which Calcio Foggia 1920 srl proposed to the Capitanata area on the occasion of the football match between the teams of Foggia and Benevento on 9 November, 8.30 pm, at the Pino Zaccheria Stadium in Foggia, constitutes a precious and particularly significant moment, not only to commemorate the national anniversary of 23 May in memory of the victims of all mafias and, thus, to raise public awareness of the importance that the fundamental values of legality, sport and respect for the rules reverberate on free civil coexistence, but also as an opportunity for coherent rediscovered unity of purpose of all passionate Foggia fans.

In this perspective, for the occasion, Calcio Foggia 1920 srl and its judicial administration, today, were able to take note of the confirmed presence at the stadium of the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor, Dr. Giovanni MELILLO, as well as the President Dr. Giulia ROMANAZZI and the judges of the Third Criminal Section – Prevention Measures – of the Court of Bari, and the Prosecutor of the Republic of Bari, Dr. Roberto ROSSI, to whom the thanks of the judicial administration and all those who, in implementing the legality project, contribute to the better execution of the well-known judicial provision of last May go from now on.

After almost six months of “support activities” pursuant to art. 34 CAM at Calcio Foggia 1920 srl, the opportunity remains unique and unprecedented to concretely attest, all together, the highly symbolic value of the presence of the State in support of the work of recovering the legality of professional football activity which is increasingly frequently affected, as the news reports, by provisions pursuant to art. 34 CAM.

In this perspective, about an hour and a half before the start of the match, the Prosecutor Dr. MELILLO, the President Dr. ROMANAZZI and the Prosecutor Dr. ROSSI will meet journalists in the “ANTONIO FESCE” PRESS ROOM of the Pino Zaccheria Stadium in Foggia.
