An AFC insider from Malaysia is resigned to his country’s football being destroyed due to FIFA sanctions.
SUPERBALL.ID – AFC insiders will not be surprised if Malaysia loses its appeal against FIFA sanctions, resigned to seeing its country’s football crumble.
This was conveyed by former FAM Exco, Datuk Christopher Raj, when asked about his hopes regarding appeals against FIFA’s decision.
The Malaysian public still has at least the next week to wait for the decision on FAM’s appeal against FIFA’s sanctions.
The decision will only be issued on October 30, although Christopher Raj is pessimistic that Malaysia can win the appeal.
Reflecting on the press conference held by FAM on Friday last week, which is expected to provide clear information about the lineage of hereditary players.
Instead of getting the answer, Raj increasingly didn’t understand what FAM was doing at the press conference.
According to him, what FAM did at the press conference actually created a crisis within the current crisis.
“Usually, a press conference is held to explain the latest issues, or to provide a general explanation to the media.”
“And the general public about the ongoing process,” said Christopher Raj as quoted by Stadium Astro.
