Lorenzo Musetti is in the quarter-finals in Brussels

Félix Auger-Aliassime struggled with Damir Dzumhur for almost three hours in the afternoon until the score was 7:6 (3), 4:6 and 7:6 (5). Lorenzo Musetti didn’t make it all that exciting, winning against a strong Yannick Hanfmann 7:6 (4) and 7:5. This means that the two competitors for a place at the ATP Finals are giving each other nothing.

The next opponent for Musetti will be the strong Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard, Félix Auger-Aliassime will face either the US qualifier Eliot Spizzirri or Botic van de Zandschulp.

Also still in the running is last year’s finalist Jiri Lehecka, who will meet Benjamin Bonzi in the quarterfinals tomorrow. Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina, number four from Brussels, has local hero Raphael Collignon in front of him.
