EuroLeague Basketball Lands on L’Équipe Channel for 2025-2026 Season
Basketball fans in France are in for a treat as the L’Équipe channel has secured broadcasting rights for 25 EuroLeague matches during the 2025-2026 season. This exciting acquisition, facilitated by IMG, a key partner of the EuroLeague, considerably bolsters the channel’s premium sports offerings.
The deal includes 16 regular-season matchups and 9 playoff and final games,all set to be broadcast live and free-to-air. This means that fans can follow the journeys of top french clubs like LDLC ASVEL and the reigning French champion, Paris Basketball, as they compete against Europe’s elite.
the broadcast team will feature seasoned journalists Benoit Cosset and Erwan Abautret, joined by new consultant Paul Lacombe. Lacombe, a prominent French international player, brings a wealth of experience from his time with LDLC ASVEL and AS Monaco, and currently plays for Nanterre 92.

- December 16, 2025 – Paris basketball vs. FC Barcelona
- December 18, 2025 – Real Madrid vs. Paris Basketball
- December 23, 2025 – LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne vs.Anadolu Efes istanbul
- December 30, 2025 – LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne vs. Paris Basketball
This EuroLeague coverage for the 2025-2026 season will complement the L’Équipe channel’s existing broadcast of the Betclic ELITE French championship. Through an agreement with DAZN, the channel will also feature the Sunday 7 p.m. league game, the All-Star Game, and select playoff games, including a quarter-final, semi-final, and the Leaders Cup final.
