Junior Judo World Cup 2024: Germany Hosts | DJB

Under the direction of the sports director Michael Bazynski and the two national coaches Udo Quellmalz (women U21) and Melek Melke (Men U21), the German junior team has arrived in Lima.

A total of 487 participants from 68 nations are registered for the Junior World Championships. With 233 participants and 254 men, almost the same many female and male judoka are nominated.

The German team starts with eleven athletes, six women and five men.

Udo Quellmalz is optimistic. “The athletes have recommended themselves to top international services for the World Cup and I hope that they can call up their potential here in Lima and are able to grow beyond themselves.”
