Muret Archery | French Championship 2024

The Muret Archers Company was represented this weekend during the French team campaign championship.

Three archers defended the colors of the club on the routes of September 27 and 28.

Frédéric Despalles pulled in a classic arc, Julien Duprat in Barebow and Arnaud Bordes in pulleys. The team showed its seriousness and cohesion throughout the competition.

They carried out a solid course and reached the quarter-finals, where they bowed 47-57 against the Rennes team, which finished second in the competition. In the end, the Compagnie d’Archers de Muret took 12th place on 24 teams committed.

The championship was won by Neuilly-sur-Marne, which also shone by the organization and the framework of the club. Team titles were won among women and men, a rare success hailed by the organizers and volunteers. In mixed, Mouans-Sartoux, Rueil-Malmaison and Carquefou occupied the highest step of the podium.

Another meeting with care; Monday, September 29, marks the start of the 3D European Championship for Julien Duprat in Belgrade, Serbia. The Muretain archer represents France on the shot and the whole company of Muret archers follows its career carefully.
