Basile has embraced the preseason with enthusiasm, highlighting its importance in preparing for the demanding championship ahead. “This preset was useful for preparing and heating the engines in view of the championship,” he shared. “We had the opportunity to get to know each other and understand the style of everyone in view of the compelling season that awaits us.” This collaborative approach is crucial for building team chemistry, especially with a roster that has seen significant changes.

Basile acknowledges the elevated competition: “The level of Serie A is very high.” He remains optimistic about his team’s potential, stating, “I think ours is a group with the potential to do well in this context. Surely, however, it will be a difficult season and we will have to find us ready from the beginning.” He emphasizes the importance of cohesion within a team that has seven new players. “Also this year there is a nice group,” Basile noted. “we had the opportunity to be together even off the pitch, doing things different from a training or game, and the group is solid. Basile also gained valuable experience during the summer playing in the Puerto Rican Championship with the Piratas de Quedabrillas.Although his team was eliminated in the quarterfinals, the experience was highly beneficial. “It was a very useful experience for me,” he stated. “I am a player who likes to play and compete. I was lucky to be able to play a few games in a beatiful country and to be able to meet new people and new players, and also to be able to deal with a good coach.
