MFF had another promising prospect in the 23rd minute. A strong run down the right flank by Bolin set up a chance, but Manojlovic made the save. The rebound fell to haksabanovic, but his effort was blocked.

The 36th minute saw another contentious moment. Bolin broke through on goal, adn the goalkeeper dropped the ball, leaving an open net.However, the linesman’s flag was raised for offside, a decision that appeared questionable and highlighted MFF’s frustrating lack of luck this season.

The first half was a hard-fought affair, but MFF started the second half sluggishly, a recurring theme this season.

Almost promptly after the restart, MFF’s defense was caught out. Tokmac advanced unimpeded and played Fallenius through,but Olsen was able to make the save from a tight angle. A subsequent corner caused further danger,but MFF managed to clear.

MFF found a better rhythm between the 60th and 75th minutes.A significant chance arose when Gudjohnsen and Larsen combined effectively down the right. Gudjohnsen controlled the pass and laid it off to a teammate, whose shot was cleared off the line by tenho.

Another strong chance came in the 68th minute, with a pinpoint cross from busanello finding Gudjohnsen. Unfortunately, he couldn’t connect cleanly with the ball.

While MFF played competently, it wasn’t enough. The decisive blow came in the 88th minute when a shot found the back of the net. While the goal itself wasn’t entirely against the run of play, it sealed the defeat.
