The former Ismaili player Ahmed Mohsen and the former Cleopatra Cleopatra announced his retirement from football.

“I think this time is the time to retire from football permanently,” Mohsen wrote on his Facebook page.

“I am 37 years old, and many believe that I am still young,” he added.

He continued, “For more than 25 years, the ball moved from Khaitan Al -Kuwaiti, passing through Parko, Al -Ittihad, the clearing, the ceramica Cleopatra, and the Ismaili.”

On his future, he explained, “I decided to work in the field of media, after obtaining the necessary training courses.”

“I ask God to grant me success in what is coming, thanks to everyone who helped me in my career with football, your calls for what is coming.”

Mohsen, who played in the left -back position, remained without a club throughout the last season after his departure from the Ismaili club.

Mohsen began his career with the Kuwaiti Al -Khaitan Club, before returning to Egypt from the Mansoura Club gate in 2008, and from it to Damietta spinning in 2012.

He played for the 2015-2016 2015 season before moving to the clearing from 2016 to 2020, which witnessed his transfer to the Ceramica Cleopatra Club.

He joined the Ismaili ranks in the summer of 2022, before his departure at the end of the 2023 – 2024 season to remain without a club.

Throughout his career, Ahmed Mohsen played 136 games in the Premier League, scoring 5 goals, while making 8 goals.

He also played 9 games in the Egypt Cup, which contributed to a single goal, and two games in the League Cup.
