FC Silon Táborsko: New Grandstand Plans | iRni

The city of Tábor from its budget will contribute to the construction of the tribune and modernization and irrigation of the playground at the football stadium. The second -league club FC Silon Táborsko has to pay seven million of its own. “I am fundamentally against the owner to finance the grandstand so that the people should look from,” said FC Silon Táborsko director Vozábal.

The public also attended the public on Tuesday. In the audience, the supporters of local football sat with club scarves and jerseys. An hour and a half long debate to the individual subsidy for the FC Táborsko Academy, to which the stadium belongs, did without much emotion.

Representatives discussed several variants of co -financing from six to 13.7 million crowns. 20 out of 27 representatives voted for maximum support.

“As far as the city’s budget is concerned, we already have twelve million prepared. Six million were prepared from the reserve of the budget last year, respectively from the surplus of income, another six million were found by the Department of Finance this year. The rest will be included in the budget next year.

The opposition movement YES and the chances for the camp promoted a variant of maximum possible support. She disagreed with lower subsidies of six or twelve million crowns, as proposed by the coalition pirates and the Tábor 2020 movement.

“Public support is the source of a subsidy of the National Sports Agency. Another donor is the city of Tábor. The sum of support cannot be higher than 80 percent. The rules are the European Union set up in this way and we have to fit in,” says the representative of YES and the Chairman of the Financial Committee Soňa Šicnerová, who voted for the proposal.

In how high the subsidy Football players hoped?

The FC Táborsko association asked the city for 21 million crowns. As the Tábor leadership reminded, the city has invested 37 million crowns in the stadium in Kvapilova Street in the last 20 years.

The football club has a promised subsidy of 14 million crowns from the National Sports Agency. The Executive Director of the Football Club Martin Vozábal did not leave the representatives of the councilors.

“I haven’t seen anywhere in the Czech Republic that someone is to finance the grandstand so that people can sit down and have a place to pee,” said the Executive Football Club director Martin Vozábal.

“It is probably a question for the owner. He is an enthusiast, so as I know him, he will probably want to finance it, but I am fundamentally against,” Vozábal said.

“It doesn’t give me logic at all to buy the grandstand to people to see where to watch, it’s just horrible,” added the director of the second league club.
