The Italian fashion brand “Dan John” will provide representative costumes for Latvian athletes and the official delegation at the Winter Olympics in Milan -Cortin, the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOC) said on Monday.
The Dan John Olympians, which are publicly designed to be publicly displayed in the early 2026, use colors and details that symbolize Latvia’s identity, while preserving the brand -specific Italian charm and modernity. Full kitty costumes meet both official requirements and provide lightness and confidence, combining Italian elegance traditions with Latvian character and aesthetics, the LOC stated.
Particular attention is paid to that the outfit is visually representative and functional and that athletes feel comfortable, but at the same time convincing and elegant.
“The Winter Olympics are always a special event for Latvia where we want to show ourselves with confidence – both on sports fields and on official receptions and visits. Therefore, cooperation with the Italian fashion brand” Dan John “is natural, as the games will take place in Italy and this partnership naturally combines Latvian athletes with Italian elegance.” “These costumes will create a united mood and strengthen the sense of belonging to Latvia, while representing our delegation in an elegant, Italian design image.”
The LOC and the Dan John project symbolize a wider link, combining the experience and knowledge of Latvian teams in Italy and Latvian teams so that Latvian athletes are noticed in the international arena.
“Being together for Latvia and Italy at the Winter Olympics is a special event for us. It’s not just about sports – it’s about representing the image of the country for the whole world. That’s why our goal was to choose costumes that embody the elegance of sports, Italian simplicity and Latvian confidence,” said Dan John.
