Para-Badminton Day: Saint-Ouen Discovery

A year after the Paris Paralympic Games and in a dynamic of inheritance, this day was an opportunity to continue to promote and enhance the parasport.

The FFBAD was pleased to introduce the para-badminton through an initiation and several practical workshops:

  • Handling chairs specific to para-badminton
  • Use of channels and simulation helmets
  • field exchanges
  • Target precision challenges

The terrains also had the honor of welcoming Marie Barsacq, Minister of Sports, Youth and Associative Life, as well as Marie-Amélie Le Fur, president of the French Paralympic and Sports Committee.

Young and old have been able to discover an activity accessible to everyone, which gave a smile to young and old.

The FFBAD thanks the CPSF for its invitation and for the opportunity to highlight our discipline during this essential day for the French parasport. She also thanks the Ile-de-France league of Badminton for her investment in the organization of this day.
