U21 National Team: Djukanovic Impact & Selection Battles

Sweden’s U21 national team got a flying start on qualifying for U21 European Championship 2027 and this through a 3-0 victory against Armenia last Friday.

Now the blue -yellow youngsters were placed against Montenegro on away ground and the league captain Daniel Bäckström rushed over in the river. This time he chose to start with Jonah Kusi-Asare, Lukas Björklund and Hampus Skoglund and they replaced Richie Omorowa, Amin Boudri and Genesis Antwi.

But the shifts gave no effect. Blue -yellow did not get holes in Montenegro and the match ended in flop and loss.

Sweden’s starting eleven: Visitor – Skoglund, Kurtuulus, Public Public Persons, Kurlsson, Swedberg – Bardghji, Kusi-Sare.
