From this Tuesday until Sunday 14, the city will host the competition organized by the Olympic Committee and the Paralympic Committee, which will bring together athletes from all over the country in 55 disciplines
This Tuesday begins in Rosario a new edition of the Argentine High Performance Games (Jadar), a competition organized by the Argentine Olympic Committee and the Paralympic Committee that will bring together more than 2,500 athletes from all over the country. The appointment will be extended until Sunday 14 and will have Rosario, Santa Fe Capital and Rafaela. The magnitude of the event is reflected in the participation of 500 judges and coaches, together with almost 700 volunteers who will accompany the development of the evidence.
The official opening will be this Tuesday at 20, with an act at the Fan Fest located on Oroño Boulevard, between Dante Alighieri and February 27. There, the athletes will parade on a catwalk, there will be messages from authorities, the traditional swearing of athletes, coaches and judges, and different surprises will be added.
In Rosario, 44 disciplines will be played in different sports scenarios. The fairground (former rural) will host taekwondo, for taekwondo, judo, for judo, weightlifting, for weightlifting, table tennis, for table tennis, karate, boxing, beach volleyball and beach handball.
The Municipal Stadium will receive athletics tests, for athletics, artistic skating and speed skating. In the racecourse 5 baseball will be developed and archery, while the Science Square will be the scene of 3 × 3 basketball.
Other city clubs will also be protagonists. Gymnastics and Fencing will house hockey, rugby 7 and tennis; Newell’s Old Boys will receive handball, sports shot and for sports shooting; Rosario Central will host Bádminton and wheelchair basketball; and Provincial will concentrate the disciplines of artistic gymnastics, trampoline, rhythmic, struggle, Wushu Kungfu and Boccia, in addition to artistic swimming and aquatic pole on their Fisherton property.
The list of Rosario spaces is completed with University (fencing), Jockey Club (golf, equestrian, modern equestrian and pentathlon), Hurricane (ball), Nautical Sportivo Avellaneda (Volley), Pueyrredón Squash (Squash) and the city museum, which will receive the chess competition.
In Santa Fe Capital, six disciplines will be added. Rowing and for rowing, canoeing and for bootage will have as its scenario the Setúbal lagoon, with the suspension bridge as a background postcard. In the same place, triathlon and triathlon will be developed, with the Costanera as a natural framework.
For his part, Rafaela will host five specialties linked to cycling. The National Route 34 will house Cycling Route and for Route Cycling; The Héctor Cassina Velodrome will receive track cycling and for cycling track; and the local autodrome will be the scene of Mountain Bike.
Regarding the distribution of participants, the Jadar Games will bring together 2,489 athletes from all provinces and the city of Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires contributes the most large delegation with 590 athletes, followed by Santa Fe with 448 and Córdoba with 259. Among the districts with less representation are Catamarca with 16, La Rioja and Santa Cruz with 15, and Chaco with 9.
