North Curve Celtic this evening posted an update after a dramatic day for Celtic supporter around the world who have been expressing their disappointment, annoyance and anger at the dreadfully ill-conceived, lengthy statement issued by the club last night that has actually galvanised the support with the Celtic Supporters Association and the Association of Irish Celtic Supporters’ Club both moving matters forward today.

The CSA vote of ‘no confidence’ in particular makes this a landmark day as the CSA has never openly disagreed with the club regardless of the matter at hand – until now.
North Curve Celtic, who began the work to create a united Celtic fan movement earlier this week after Celtic’s abysmal transfer window came to a sorry conclusion, have now added a Sunday evening update, which you can read below.

They reveal that on top of the ‘no confidence’ vote from the CSA, further votes have taken place and now Bhoys Celtic, Green Brigade, North Curve Celtic and The Celtic Trust have also issued a vote of ‘no confidence’ in the Celtic Board.
Their next step is to canvas all the Celtic supporters outlets and clubs – including The Celtic Star from the very beginning – to add their own votes to this campaign. North Curve Celtic states: “While it is our expectation that the majority of the Open Letter signatories would also endorse this vote, we are unable to add them without consent.
“To that end, we are in process of arranging a consultation meeting of all signatories to the Open Letter to discuss and agree next steps. Arrangements for the meeting ill be communicated to all signatories as soon as possible.”
“While we firmly believe further escalatory actions are necessary, we are committed to building a fully engaged, inclusive and democratic fan movement which acts on the consensus of the fans within it. We are conscious that there are many individual fans not currently represented and part of the consultation will involve how we navigate this.”
Looks like it’s going to be an interesting week.
