Benfica reacted to the announcement of Bairrada’s Benfica House that this Saturday, at 17h00, “will host a clarification session promoted by the party, at the request of the party itself.” An initiative that can collide with Benfica’s statutes, which prohibit the homes of ‘engaging in political-partisan activities’ activities.
Source of the incarnate club, contacted by The Bola, explicit that the holding of this clarification session in Bairrada “is an autonomous decision of the house, without any club intervention.”
However, and although it is not “apology for any political force”, as they receive all parties, they have already done so in the PS in July, and the house explains that it is a clarification session that they are also an Association of Earth, Benfica “has again asked that they have no political activity”.
It is recalled that, via a statement, directed to the partners and the community, the direction of the house justified the initiative as part of the ‘Spirit of Opening and Public Service of Space’.
