Viva associations in Cannes

This year, Viva Associations is celebrating its 21 years on the theme “Cannes, Green City”. In total, nearly 200 associations will come, with numerous events, demonstrations and sports initiations on the program for this day. A photo competition is also organized, on the theme of publishing. To participate, simply publish a photo (until September 9) on social networks and add the hashtag #vivancannes25. The photo that will have obtained the most “like” will be elected great winner. Results on September 12.

At Fort Carré, nearly 120 associations will present their activities. Football, dance, archery, theater, twirling, sails, chess, skiing, trampoline, gymnastics … There will be something for everyone. Many sporting events and demonstrations will be offered free of charge, as well as the right behaviors to be kept by road prevention. The Red Cross will also be present and will demonstrate first aid gestures.

Please note, for the occasion, the road between Siesta and Fort Carré will be closed to traffic, from 8 to 6 p.m. The opportunity to take advantage of the seaside safely by bike, scooter, on foot … A free instruction will be set up to leave its bicycle, in complete safety.

Family family families in Mandelieu

Along the avenue des Anciens-Combattants, on the Sports of the Siagne Plaine, the associations will come to install their information stands tomorrow. Many sports activities will be offered (basketball, handball, rowing, archery, pétanque, fencing, billiards, country dances, online, etc.). Inflatable structures will be installed to the delight of the little ones, and there will be enough to eat thanks to food trucks. Finally, the CCAS will propose, for the benefit of the social grocery store, the baskets of the heart, books for sale.

The Sports and Free Time Day in Mougins

About sixty sports, cultural, patriotic or solidarity associations will be gathered for the festival of sport and free time, Saturday September 6, at the Roger-Duhalde complex. On the program, sports demonstrations (basketball, hand, volleyball, tennis, padel, badminton, football …) and initiations to martial arts, dance, mountain biking, orientation race, pétanque, gymnastics, and many others. The firefighters will introduce the public to the gestures that save and fire safety.

A stroll in Golfe-Juan

From 9:30 am, the athletes of the city will parade in the city center of Gulf-Juan to get to the parking lot of the Old Port. The opening of stands and entertainment will be carried out at 10 am, with entertainment all day. Nautical pass, sailing baptisms, catamaran, paddle and kayak will also be offered. A pétanque tournament is organized from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a triathlon (from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.) and a sandball tournament (3.30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.).

A free shuttle will leave at 9:45 am, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. from Place du Château with Fournas stop. Return at 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
