Charlton Add West Ham’s Flannery on Loan | Transfer News

The 19-year-old midfielder started out with Arsenal in her early years before joining the West Ham United academy system. After impressing in East London, Flannery made her senior debut for The Hammers in a fixture against London rivals Chelsea in September 2022 and she has gone on to add several further appearances to her tally.

Flannery spent some of the 2022/2023 season with Gillingham before joining former Barclays WSL2 club Reading on loan the following year. She made 10 appearances for the Berkshire club. The player then enjoyed a productive loan spell at Sunderland last season. Flannery made 17 appearances for The Lady Black Cats as the Wearsiders enjoyed another solid season in Barclays WSL2.

The England Under-19 international will now look to make an even bigger impact in the second tier during her time at Charlton Athletic. She will be hoping to help The Addicks mount a fresh promotion challenge.

Flannery could make her Charlton Athletic debut when The Addicks welcome Crystal Palace to The Valley on Sunday afternoon.
