Within the framework of the anniversary parties of Armenia, on Sunday, October 5, the first edition of the PET RUN 2025 will be held, an event that combines sport, healthy life and love for animals, organized by the Imdera and the Mayor’s Office of Armenia. The appointment hopes to gather about 2,000 runners in the 10K, 5K and 1K PET modalities, with a concentration point at the Plaza Flora shopping center from 5:45 am
The race was born with the purpose of promoting active life habits in the community and, at the same time, supporting five animal care foundations in the city. To register, participants must solidarity 5 kilos of food (2.5 for dogs and 2.5 for cats), which will be intended entirely to these organizations, waiting to collect more than 10 tons of food.
The 1K recreational will allow families to run with their pets, with a shirt, number, medal, hydration and scarf for the animal. The open 5K and 10k tests will be aimed at amateur corridors and elite, with official kit, timing chip, finisher medal, fruit, route en route and medical accompaniment.
Logistics will also guarantee hydration points, animal welfare areas and the accompaniment of the authorities to guarantee security and coexistence. The tours are designed to travel some of the main sections of the city. The 1k Pet will run in the vicinity of Plaza Flora; The 5K will have turns in the Iberian roundabout and container city; While the 10K will reach the entrance of the Agroindustrial Sena, before returning to the finish point in Plaza Flora.
All routes will be enabled with traffic control, safety and support of relief agencies.
