Kasper Dolberg signs for 4 years
Ajax achieved a first success on Tuesday at the start of the evening. With Dolberg a personal agreement was reached on a contract until the summer of mid -2029. The Amsterdammers could make a multi -year offer after they made the choice for a direct transfer – and therefore not a rent with a mandatory purchase. Dolberg draws a commitment for four years.
Six years after the now 27-year-old Dane left the Johan Cruijff Arena, he returned to the club with which he won the double in 2019. The center striker initially seemed to be on their way to Celtic in recent days, but had a very strong preference for Ajax, when that club reported. Dolberg has had a good season with a further moderately performing Anderlecht with 24 goals in 45 games and is again pretty on shot with 5 goals in 9 duels this season.
Transfermarkt closed: These were the last transfers
Technical director Alex Kroes is happy with the return of Dolberg: “Kasper is back on familiar land. He knows Ajax, the club knows him and his qualities. As far as we are concerned, he fits perfectly in our current selection as an attacker and makes us better and more versatile in the various competitions in which we are active. We are happy to choose his contribution again.”
