Avaí lost to América-MG 2-0 on the night of Tuesday (2), at Arena Independência, in Belo Horizonte (MG), and wasted the opportunity to get closer to the G4 of Serie B of the Brazilian Championship.

The rabbit scored a goal in every time. First, América-MG stole the ball, Stênio advanced on the left, touched Arthur Sousa to face goalkeeper César and open the marker.
Already around the break, the home team expanded with only seven minutes. Arthur Sousa served Kauã Diniz, who hit a strong kick from the Avaiano goal.
With the result, Avaí ends the 24th round in 12th place with 33 points, six from Criciúma, which is the first team within the G4 of Serie B. América-MG adds 25 points, rises to 17th place and is three points from Botafogo-SP, which is the first outside the relegation zone.
