The male individual final, also the most exciting match of this year’s world championship, took place last night (August 31) in Paris (France).

The game is a clash between Kunlavut Vitidsarn (Thailand, current Olympic runner -up, world number 3) and Shi Yuqi (China, number 1 of the world).
The game was very exciting, with many spectacular comebacks of both players. In the first game, Shi Yuqi came to lead 18-11, but Kunlavut Vitidsarn played very well later, winning 21-19. Kunlavut Vitidsarn temporarily led Shi Yuqi 1-0.
In the second game, Shi Yuqi did not give any opportunity to Kunlavut Vitidsarn. The number one in the world, the Chinese, scored a lot of constancy, before Shi Yuqi easily won the second game with a score of 21-10, drawing the score at 1-1.
The third game, the decisive, was extremely exciting, worthy of a dream final. Kunlavut Vitidsarn led 8-3, Shi Yuqi matched 8-8, putting the advantage 11-9. But Kunlavut Vitidsarn did not give up.
Both teams fought for each point, before Shi Yuqi won the final game 21-18, so that the number one of the Chinese world won 2-1 (19-21, 21-10 and 21-18).
