Shi Yu Qi & Akane Yamaguchi Win World Badminton Titles 2023

Shi beat the defending world champion in the final, Thai Kunlavut Vitidsarn (BWF 3), in three sets, 19-21, 21-10, 21-18. At 29, he won his first world title.

In the ladies, Yamaguchi dominated 21-9, 21-13 the Chinese Chen Yu Fei (BWF 4).
