Dozens of participants and spectators participated in the 2e Edition of the external basketball tournament for the benefit of the Manicouagan health and social services Foundation.
It was on August 16 at Parc Saint-Nom-de-Marie in Baie-Comeau that Maxim Bard and his team organized the event that made it possible to collect $ 2,055 that was completely handed over to the Foundation.
Under Formula 3 against 3, teams from all circles clashed in a spirit of healthy competition and social commitment.
The objective was clear: to support projects in youth protection for young people in vulnerability, through concrete initiatives carried by the Foundation.
“We are deeply affected by the generosity and energy of all those who participated in this 2e edition. Together, we make a real difference for the youth of our community, ”underlines the organizer Maxim Bard.
Thanks to an increased mobilization, the event experienced awarded participation compared to last year, testifying to the growing interest in this essential cause.
Nearly 60 players gathered in a festive atmosphere with music, animation, refreshments and food thanks to the sponsors. Prices have also been awarded to the winners.
The organizing committee would like to thank all the partners, volunteers, donors and players who contributed to the success of this day.
