It will be held today, July 3, starting at 20.30 in the urban park next to the sports hall of San Filippo del Melathe final year -end essay of the artistic courses held by the UPCF Filippese Popular University in the academic year 2024-2025.
All the courses were held under the direction of qualified masters: those of the music and preparatory preparatory Majorettes had the direction of respectively of Giusy Giorgianni and Barbara Floridiathose of classic guitar and for battery and percussion respectively of Alessandro Ariosto e di Giuseppe Milazzo.
The courses of wind instruments (flute, clarinet and sax) and trumpet, trombone and tuba were kept in order by Caterina Cassisi and from Davide Caponeartistic director and the band body “Music amateurs“Of the UPCF; those of modern and violin singing took place under the direction of Ylenia Scuderi and the violin master Sergio Chinigò.

The violin master Sergio Chinigò, coming from Messina, is the great -grandson of the poet, writer and patriot Milazzese Gioacchino Chinigò to whom the road that flanks the headquarters of the former Banco di Sicilia (today Unicredit) is named in the center of Milazzo. Gioacchino Chinigò held a famous speech on the occasion of the visit of Prime Minister Francesco Crispi for the inauguration of the statue of freedom in Marina Garibaldi on July 20, 1897.
