(Kaohsiung, 2nd) Malaysia’s U25 men’s basketball team fell behind in the first team in the Fo Guang Cup International Basketball Invitational on Wednesday, and finally defeated Australia’s Bryan Kerr Basketball Academy 95-83, winning Group A. Huang Xianfu made 8 three-pointers and scored 34 points, which was a contributor to Malaysia’s victory.
Huang Xianfu made 2 of 3-pointers in the first quarter, and Mike also made a three-pointer, leading 17-12 at one point. Australia scored consecutive fast breaks afterwards, and Makir scored a three-pointer and took the lead 21-17. Malaysia’s counterattack was made by Zheng Zunkai, and Malaysia chased to 23-23, but still trailed 25-28 in the first quarter.
3 points behind Australia in the first quarter
Entering the second quarter, Huang Xianfu made consecutive three-pointers and layups to score 8 points in a row, chasing 35-35. Ryder immediately responded with a three-pointer, Huber made 2 of 2 free throws, and Australia opened the gap 40-35. Both teams each achieved success, and Australia led the half 53-48. Huang Xianfu made 5 of 8 three-pointers in the first half, and Mike made 3 of 4 three-pointers.

Australia’s Makir had 27 points and 8 rebounds, Huber scored 14 points and 6 rebounds, Tafya, Fletcher and Ryder joined forces to hand over 27 points.
The Ma Men’s Team will face the Chinese team in the second round of the World Universiade China tomorrow, which will defeat Tuoxian University 116-75 today.

Ma Woman lost to Japan Sports University 25 points
In the women’s group competition, Malaysia U25 lost to Japan Women’s Sports University 61-86 in the second round of Group A today, winning its first loss.
Ma Ng is no match for Japanese women in this game at all. She has been behind since the start of the game, and she was 14 points behind 14 points in the first quarter.
