In the presence of the students, it was time for the sports balance sheet on Monday afternoon, in the courtyard of the Fernand-Léger college.
We first mentioned the sponsorship actions of the cross of the establishment which ran last November in the presence of 300 young people, CM2 schoolchildren being associated with this event. “The sponsorship action made it possible to collect € 2,311, last year we were at € 2,236. These sums will allow to finance even more outings next year ”, explained Yoann Dumaine, professor of physical education.
As for sports results, the two teams of the college finish in the first two places in the mini-handball tournament. In ultimate, the frisbee throw, Livarot climbed to the first and 3e Place of the minimal tournament. In the Orbec raid, the minimal team ends in the 4e place. On the badminton side, the establishment offered, this year, an option of one weekly hour for 28 students and 4:30 a.m. for the section of twelve students. The college won the departmental title 2025 as well as a bronze medal for the second team. Directly qualified, the section of the section is vice-academic champion. “Next September the section is complete with sixteen registered. They will be 31 students to benefit from the badminton option ”, announced Yoann Dumaine.
