Internship – passing by a person who has the intention to acquire the status of a lawyer, a course of targeted practical -oriented training, including the study of theoretical issues and the acquisition of practical skills necessary for the implementation of professional advocacy.
The trainee of a lawyer may be a person who has a higher legal education received by state accreditation of the educational program, not recognized as incompetent or limitedly capable in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Russian Federation and does not have an unexpected criminal record for the commission of a deliberate crime.
The internship and legal status of an interns is regulated by the Federal Law “On advocacy and advocacy in the Russian Federation”, the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and other acts of legislation.
The internship can be held in any advocacy, its term is from one year to two years.
The lawyer has no right to independently engage in advocacy, he conducts activities under the leadership of the fuel lawyer, fulfilling his individual instructions.
Lawyer-curator is a lawyer who directly manage the internship and training of an interns. A lawyer-curator may be a lawyer who has a lawyer at least five years.
The lawyer chambers of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation are entitled to develop the provisions on the procedure for passing the internship (approved by the decision of the Council of the FPA of the Russian Federation of May 27, 2020) to regulate the procedure and conditions for the internship in the corresponding subject of the Russian Federation.
An internship interpretation for the internship concludes a fixed -term employment contract with a lawyer, and if the lawyer carries out his activities in the lawyer, with a lawyer.
