Caleb John Raleighsaid Big Dumper (Cullowhee, November 26, 1996), is an American baseball player who plays in the receiver role for the Seattle Mariners of the Major League Baseball (MLB).
Raleigh was chosen by the Seattle Mariners during the third lap (90th Absolute) of the MLB 2018 Draft.[1] He signed with the team a contract that included a bonus for the signature of 854,000 dollars, after which he was sent to experience in minor alloys until 2021.[2]
On 11 July 2021 Raleigh was promoted in the Major League for the first time.[3] He debuted in the MLB that same day starting as a receiver against the Los Angeles Angels, suffering two strikeouts in four rounds in the beaten.[4] His first valid and the first point beaten at home (RBI) came against the launcher Germán Márquez of the Colorado Rockies on July 20.[5][6] On July 23 he beat his first champion on the launch of the startnt pitcher of the Oakland Athletics Frankie Montas.[7] By dividing the role of receiver with Tom Murphy, Raleigh closed the season with an average beat of .180, 2 Fuoricampo, 13 RBI and 52 Strikout in 47 appearances.[8]
Raleigh began the 2022 season continuing to find difficulties in the beaten, with an average of .083 and undergoing Strikeout in 32% of its shifts in the beaten in its first nine games.[9] On April 28 he was opted to return to the smaller league,[10] Returning to the Mariners on May 7 after Murphy broke a shoulder. After beating with .091 in the first ten races, Raleighbatté with .228 and 24 Fuoricampo in the rest of the season.[11][12] On 30 September Raleigh beat the home run of overtaking and victory over Athletics[13] Allowing the Mariners to hit the first qualification for the playoffs since 2001, closing the worst active strip of the four major US professional sports.[14] He also had jokes imported into the playoffs. In the round of the wild cards against the Toronto Blue Jays Batté a two -point champion on the launch of Alek Manaah,[15] As he marked the winning point in race 2. His positive period in the beat died in the next round against the Houston Astros, in which he beat 1 out of 14 in three consecutive defeats.[16] The regular season closed with a medium beat of .211, 20 doubles, a triple and 63 RBI in 119 appearances.[17] His 27 home runs were the best among all the MLB receivers that year, as well as a deductible record for a Mariners receiver.[18][19] He was a finalist in the role of receiver both for the gold glove and for the Silver Slugger Award.[20][21][22][23]
On May 15, 2023 Raleigh became the first receiver of the story to beat a champion on both sides of the joke to Fenway Park, beating two home runs in two consecutive rounds.[24][25] In 145 games played. In 2023batté with .232, with 30 Fuoricampo and 75 RBI. When the Mariners were eliminated from the playoff race, Raleigh criticized the lack of purchases of weight by his team, saying: “Sometimes you have to go out and spend.
