Club World Cup
As a group winner, Borussia Dortmund has fixed the entry into the round of 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup. The German Bundesliga club held the upper hand in Cincinnati against Ulsan HD from South Korea and passed the fluminense in the table of group F with seven points. The Brazilians (5 points) went after a goalless draw in Miami against Mamelodi Sundowns (4) from South Africa as second over the finish line.
Dortmund dominated the action before the break without the ÖFB team player Marcel Sabitzer on the bench. Serhou Guirassy in particular kept coming to focus, but remained lucky in the end (2nd, 19th, 27th). Julian Rerson (16th) and Jobe Bellingham with a volley (27th) also awarded good opportunities.
