Buenos Aires was designated this year Capital of Sports 2027a recognition granted by the Association of European Sports Capital (ACES), which highlights the commitment of the Buenos Aires government with the promotion and development of sport, and which positions the city at the level of other great sports capitals such as Abu Dhabi, Madrid and Monaco.

“High performance sport is the mirror and inspiration for thousands of young athletes who aspire to join the activities we propose every day,” said Turnes. “Therefore, we found a great idea that consecrated athletes can transmit their knowledge and the values that Olympism and sport transmits to the boys of our schools that our Olympic representatives can be in the future.”
