Emīls Liepiņš: 20th in UCI World Tour Denmark

In this race, cyclists ran 235.6 kilometers from Roskilde to Copenhagen on a plenum, measuring the last 40 kilometers in several laps on the streets of the Danish capital.

The Great Group’s finish spurt was unbeaten by the Belgian George Méus (“Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrrohe”), who won the Tour de Suisse (UCI Kat.2.Uwt) a few days ago, without finishing in Switzerland to start in Denmark. The other two places on the podium were occupied by Frenchmen Alexis Renārs (“Cofidis”) and Emilien Jeanier (“Totalergies”).

Liepiņš (“Q36.5”) finished in a large group, which finished the race after five hours and 15 seconds. The Latvian champion in the group trip for 20th place was 20 UCI points. Two places above were his teammate Nikolo Parisini.

Neiland (“Israel – Premier Tech”) finished 22 seconds later and was at two UCI points.
