TCEBB Tennis Club Celebrates Triumphs in 2025
The Bretenoux-Biars Tennis Club (TCEBB) is riding a wave of success, kicking off 2025 with remarkable victories across various divisions. Their dedication and skill are shining brightly.
Mixed Challenge Champions
The club’s mixed team, a powerhouse in Division 1, claimed the Rouergue Mixed Challenge title for the third consecutive year. Their victory over the Oneet-le-les club -Heaute was notably impressive, secured by a super tie-break in the final doubles match. The winning team included Benjamin and Rafael Wright, Laury Lacroix, Axel Touraquet, and Catherine Mabon.
Youth Success
The 15-16-year-old boys’ team made a strong start to their championship, defeating Bagnac in their opening match. This early success bodes well for their future performances.
Adult Teams Excel
The two adult mixed teams also performed admirably in the Maury challenge. Victories against Cahors and Sousceyrac showcase their consistent performance and tactical prowess.
Individual Contenders
Individual players are also making waves. Benjamin wright, a champion in the 45-year-old category, is in the semi-finals of the 3rd series individual championship. Magali Clere, in the semi-finals of the 4th series, and Céline Ponty, a champion in the 35-year-old category and 3rd series doubles, are also contenders for titles this year.
